U!REKA European University is proud to announce the U!REKA Awards – celebrating the extraordinary individuals and teams who embody the spirit and values of our alliance. 

The U!REKA Awards will be presented at the U!REKA Connects 2026 in Lisbon. All members of the U!REKA community are kindly invited to nominate outstanding individuals or teams who have made a significant impact in one (or more) of the following categories during the academic year 2025-2026, aligning with the three values of U!REKA: co-creation, inclusion and boldness.

Submit your nominations via the form below.

The deadline for nominations is 11 May 2026. 

You may nominate individuals (students or staff) or teams. Self-nominations are also allowed! 

The nominations must be related to inter-institutional collaboration in the U!REKA context. 

The winners will be selected jointly by the U!REKA Institutional Coordinators. 

The awards will be presented at the U!REKA Connects 2026 in Lisbon, on 25 June. 

A purpose-driven reward

We are honoured to collaborate with APIP (Portuguese Plastics Industry Association) for this year’s awards. In addition to formal recognition and a certificate, each winner will receive a donation made in their name to a charity or fund aligned with the U!REKA mission, generously provided by APIP to ensure our collective success creates a lasting social impact.

Recognizing collaborative efforts that bring together diverse stakeholders across institutions, disciplines, or sectors to co-create innovative solutions, projects or experiences.
